Joining
the Richmond-Upper Clarence Regional Library
Member Categories
Adult Membership Anyone 16 years or older.
Young Adult Membership Anyone 14 – 16 years of age. This category will
require the details of a parent/ guardian as a guarantor for the young person
being joined.
Junior Membership Anyone 0 – 14 years of age. This
category will need the details of a parent/ guardian as a guarantor for the
young person being joined.
Temporary Membership
Anyone
wanting to join the Richmond-Upper Clarence Regional Library for one month or
less can be joined as a Temporary member.
ID
required: We require some form of personal identification that includes the individual’s
name and address. If possible, recording of both your normal residential, and a
local address is preferable.
Loan
Limit: A maximum of 5 items for 21 days.
If you
are staying in our region for longer than one month, your membership can be
changed to the Normal category.
Normal Membership
ID
required: We require some form of personal identification that includes the
individual’s name and address.
Loan
Limit: A maximum of 5 items for 21 days for the first visit, and a maximum of
15 items on subsequent visits.
Agreement with the Library
Please
register me as a member of the Richmond-Upper Clarence Regional Library.
I
understand that I need to personally visit one of the branches during business
hours and show a staff member a form of personal identification that shows my
name and address, or, during closure of the libraries due to the COVID-19 pandemic, call 66600250 during business hours, to become an approved member of the Richmond-Upper Clarence
Regional Library and receive my official member number and card.
I
undertake to observe library rules, policies and procedures, make good the loss
or damage of any item lent to me, pay any charges or fines incurred, notify any
change of address and to observe the requirements of the NSW Library Act and
Regulations.
